House Wren Fledging

This was the seconded brood for the House Wrens. The little ones had been making a lot of noise for a number of days. The parents were busy dawn to dusk bringing insects and worms. Of course, the fecal sacs had to be taken out. Finally, it got to a point where the "babies" were sticking their heads out the hole. The adults tried to "encourage" them to come out by standing off from the box. On August 9th, we saw two fledge. There were still more in the house--must have been crowded in there.
